This is one of my first shots with the new Hasselblad.
I’ve seen this smoker at the train station in Ancona and he has been so kind to pose for me!
The film I’ve used is a Kodak Tri-X 400 self developed in ID-11.
My medium format experience starts here ;)
Cheers!!

Hi, I’m an admin for a group called No Manipulation / Documents of our time, and we’d love to have this added to the group!
great job for your first MF shot on hassy :)
well done!
Molto bella, ottimo momento.
Great that you have a hasselblad….This is amazing – first run or not…Terrific sharp detail and contrast on both the man and railing..It is really good…..one can feel the cloth…..the textures are obvious….
cool shot, lovely tones, great character here!
A wonderful portrait.
nice portrait
Really nice natural portrait. Great start with the Hasselblad, I look forward to seeing more :)
nice one, andrea. had a go with tri-x myself, click. had it developed in rodinal, hence the severe grain.
what scanner do you use btw?
Seen on your photo stream. (?)
Many thanks guys!!

Thanks, I’ve saw your shoots and I really like them ;)
TriX and Rodinal is a great combo, I’m using it during these days.
Regarding my scanner, it’s an old school Microtek Artixscan 120TF. I really like it and its capabilities (especially the autofocus).
Love the tongue so much! Lovely expression!
Nice start Andrea :-)
